Get started with the DQC Platform
After registering successfully, this guide helps you take your first steps in the DQC Platform. Learn where to find key sections and how to run your first checks using the built-in Quick-Start Guide.
Navigating the dashboard
Once signed in, you’ll land on the Dashboard — the central entry point of the DQC Platform. Use the left-hand navigation menu to access the most important areas:
Dashboard – Overview of main KPIs (e.g. number of connected tables, rules, and overall data quality score)
Tables – Overview of all connected tables including quality summaries and meta-information
Rules – Central list of all data quality rules created across your tenant
Missions – Overview of data quality missions, e.g. for fixing issues collaboratively
Alerts – List of configured alerts for data changes or rule failures
Connectors – View and manage connected data sources, communication channels and data catalogs
Main entry points like Tables, Rules, Missions, and Alerts are accessible from the sidebar
Quick-Start guide
When you first open a table, the Quick-Start Guide appears automatically. It walks you through key actions to quickly activate data checks and drive improvement.
You can also access the guide later at any time by selecting More > Quick-Start Guide from the table screen.
Use “More > Quick-Start Guide” to manually restart the guide
The guide walks you through:
Add a new rule
Define a data quality rule using the assistant or manual setupActivate a rule
Enable it to be used in data checks▶️ Run a table check
Start a data validation process to detect issues
Create a mission or alert
Launch a mission to improve data or set alerts to monitor rule resultsIntegrate a validation API
Optionally use DQC’s API to validate incoming data automatically
Step-by-step guidance is embedded in the interface to help you apply core functions easily
Notes
You can use the search bar at the top to jump to any table or rule
The guide is optional — all actions can also be accessed directly from the UI
