v2.44
This release adds the Azure Synapse connector and rule filtering for improvement workflows, while improving address validation, PDF processing, and DQ-AI Assistant reliability and performance.
New Features
Azure Synapse Connector
Added Azure Synapse as a new stand-alone connector. See documentation.
Enables seamless integration of Synapse environments into the DQC Platform for rule generation, monitoring, and improvement workflows
Rule Filter for Improvement Workflows
Introduced rule filtering directly on the input node in improvement workflows
Enables more precise control over which issues from which rules should be improved within a workflow
Rule filters work in combination with existing row filters and to be combined using AND/OR logic
Address Node Improvement
Improved address node logic to increase the accuracy and reliability of address validation
Added more robust column-level confidence scores for improved addresses
PDF Connector Enhancements
Improved OCR recognition accuracy to enhance text extraction reliability
Improved toast notifications during PDF uploads to clearly display how many files succeeded and failed out of the total upload
Small improvements and bug fixes
Updated enrichment and address nodes to explicitly write “unchanged” for rows validated with high confidence, instead of leaving them empty
Redesigned the static file upload architecture to significantly reduce loading times and improve overall performance
Enhanced the DQ-AI Assistant on Azure SQL by filtering out unsupported rule predictions to ensure more reliable rule creation
Improved the DQ-AI Assistant’s intent recognition to suggest business-relevant data quality rules earlier (when required in the discussion with the user)
