Adding a new tenant and users to the DQC Platform

In many cases, it's recommended to create a dedicated tenant per department or data domain to ensure clean data separation and tailored access control. Each tenant functions as a fully isolated environment for its members and assets.

When to create a new tenant

A new tenant should be created if:

  • You are onboarding a different business unit or client

  • You want to ensure strict data separation

  • Users should only see data assets relevant to their use case

How to create a new tenant

  1. (Optional) Leave the current tenant:
Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account

  2. Log in again to the DQC Platform
→ This automatically creates a new tenant tied to your email

  3. Invite users to the new tenant:
Go to Settings → Invite user

  4. Invited users will receive an email and see a popup to join the tenant after logging in

Invited users will see a prompt to join the tenant after login

Tenant isolation

  • Each tenant has its own connectors, tables, and rule sets

  • Members of one tenant cannot see data or configurations from another tenant

  • Permissions apply only within the active tenant environment
